Oh man, we hope Dwight Yoakam doesn’t bring all of his awards with him when he performs inside the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. There won’t be any room for him on stage if he does. If you don’t know who Dwight Yoakam is, you don’t know country music. Like we said, he’s won a ton of awards. Since hitting stardom in the mid- 80s, Yoakam’s sold more than 25 million records, charted more than 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, won a few Grammy awards and has more albums that are platinum and gold than rappers have in their grills. Oh, and we forgot to mention that he’s the most frequent musical guest in the history of The Tonight Show. So yeah, he’s pretty darn good.
