A topless pool. An afterhours club. A 24-hour lounge. Artisan Boutique Hotel is definitely an adults-only place to party. The Artisan offers more than a party atmosphere though. This motel-size property, located 2 miles from the Las Vegas Strip just off Interstate 95, also has a unique gothic vibe with an art-filled lobby, sculptures and a dark plush decor.
You’ll find reproductions of famous works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Fernando Botero and hundreds more hanging on the walls and ceilings of the lounge and in all the hallways. Art Deco inspired lighting and statuary, leather furniture, dark wood, drapery and walls, plus a large fountain create an atmosphere that evokes fin-de-siecle Paris.
All of the Artisan’s hotel rooms are also decorated in a dark mocha with more reproductions of famous artwork. But back to the nightlife‚ÄöThe Artisan Lounge is open 24 hours daily. The hip hangout features a bar and an outdoor patio. On weekends the party gets kicked up a notch with Artisan Nightlife, an afterhours club with DJs. The party goes until the wee hours of the morning.
If you’re looking for a quiet retreat this is probably not the hotel for you on the weekends. The lounge also features a humidor stocked with fine cigars. Outside, the hotel boasts the European pool, a European-style (topless) getaway with luxurious lounging beds and a number of chaise lounges surrounded by palms and greenery. During summer pool parties, the pool deck features a DJ, dancing and drinks. Other amenities at the Artisan include a restaurant, Mood, which is open for special events. There’s also a small wedding chapel and garden with full wedding planning services.
